Jahrhundert aussah. Auf dem historischen Foto ist der Blick auf den Hasenberg noch frei, auf welchem um 1900 die Pauluskirche errichtet wurde. Der Berg musste daf\u00fcr teilweise abgetragen werden. Geweiht wurde die Kirche im September 1903 in Anwesenheit der Kaiserin Auguste Viktoria. Die Glocken l\u00e4uteten jedoch erstmalig schon vor der Weihe, am 2.11.1902. Um die Pauluskirche herum entstand in der Folgezeit das gro\u00dfb\u00fcrgerliche Paulusviertel, ein auch heute sehr begehrtes Wohnviertel.
