Der als h\u00f6here Bildungsanstalt f\u00fcr M\u00e4dchen nach der letzten deutschen Kaiserin als Kaiserin-AugusteVictoria-Lyzeum geschaffene eindrucksvolle Schulbau erscheint mit Dreifl\u00fcgelanlage und vorgelagertem Park wie eine Schlossanlage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle0\"><br \/>\nZuvor gab es schon Bildungsanstalten f\u00fcr M\u00e4dchen in Halberstadt: Seit 1822 ist eine h\u00f6here T\u00f6chterschule nachweisbar; 1830 wurde in der Dompropstei am Domplatz eine h\u00f6here M\u00e4dchenschule eingerichtet. 1909 brauchte man mehr<br \/>\nPlatz, um die gro\u00dfe Anzahl an Sch\u00fclerinnen zu unterrichten. Daher wurde von der Stadtversammlung beschlossen, ein gro\u00dfes Grundst\u00fcck f\u00fcr einen Neubau zu erwerben. Am 17. April 1912 konnter die feierliche Einweihung stattfinden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle0\"><br \/>\nNach dem Ende des Zweiten Weltkrieges erfolgte eine Zusammenlegung mit der Halberst\u00e4dter Dom- und Ratsschule.
