Dadurch gelangte Spiegel in den Genuss eines sorgenfreien Lebens und lie\u00df 1782 sein Wohnhaus im sp\u00e4tbarocken Stil errichten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle0\"><br \/>\nFreiherr Ernst Ludwig Christoph von Spiegel zum Diesenberg wirkte im Sinne der Aufkl\u00e4rung, setzte sich f\u00fcr die Volksbildung ein, f\u00f6rderte die Kunst und unterst\u00fctzte soziale Projekte. Nichts machte jedoch au\u00dferhalb der Provinz seinen Namen bekannter, als die von ihm zum Landschaftspark gestalteten Spiegelsberge.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle0\"><br \/>\nAnfang des 20. Jahrhundert entschlossen sich die Erben zum Umbau des Spiegelpalais\u2018 am Domplatz.
