Der Blick f\u00fchrt im Bild hinunter in die Unterund damit in die Altstadt. Die Geb\u00e4udestruktur ist nicht mehr vollst\u00e4ndig erhalten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle0\"><br \/>\nAuff\u00e4llig ist das Haus Grudenberg 11 mit der Fassadenbegr\u00fcnung. Hier wurde am 9. M\u00e4rz 1809 Jakob Gottlieb Ferdinand Heine in eine beg\u00fcterte Familie hineingeboren. Der am Wohnhaus angrenzende Garten wird seine schon in der Kindheit entwickelte Leidenschaft f\u00fcrs Zeichnen und f\u00fcr Naturstudien unterst\u00fctzt haben. Ab 1830 begann er bereits im elterlichen Haus in- und ausl\u00e4ndische Vogelb\u00e4lge zu sammeln. Mit dem Umzug in das ehemalige Klostergut St. Burchardi konnte Ferdinand Heine seine Sammelleidenschaft enorm ausbauen und schuf bis Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts eine bemerkenswerte, auch aufgrund der enormen Formenvielfalt bedeutende Vogelsammlung, die mit mehr als 10.000 Exemplaren die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Privatsammlung Mitteleuropas war. Sein Sohn Ferdinand Heine junior, mit dem er die ornithologische Leidenschaft teilte, erbte die Sammlung.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle0\"><br \/>\n1905 trat der Ausschuss des St\u00e4dtischen Museums an Heine junior mit der Bitte heran, die weltber\u00fchmte Vogelsammlung in das neugegr\u00fcndete Museum zu integrieren.
